The 53^rd Annual Meeting and Banquet for the Brockton Area Arc will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Abington.  The Knights of Columbus are allowing us to use their facility at no cost, again this year.  The festivities begin at 6 p.m., with dinner at 7 p.m.  Please, plan on joining us.

Golfers, SAVE THE DATE!!  The 15^th Annual OE+ Charity Golf Tournament to benefit the Brockton Area Arc will be held at the beautiful Fall River Country Club.  Registration is from 12 to 1 p.m. with a shotgun start at 1:15 p.m.  The $150 entry fee includes 18 holes of golf, golf cart, the post-golf buffet dinner, and a contribution to the Brockton Area Arc.  For all the details and the chance to participate in our largest fundraising event, call  508-583-8030.  We will send you a tournament brochure immediately upon request.

Arrangements are being made for our annual Brockton Rox outing.  That night the Rox are scheduled to play the Worcester Tornadoes.  Our reserved tickets are $6.00 each which includes a donation to the Brockton Area Arc.  Please, join us for the fun, the game, and the Fireworks!  Respond by August 8, 2008 to get your ticket(s).

Sunday, September 14, 2008  

The 16^th annual “Walk in the Park for BAARC” fundraiser will take place at D.W. Field’s Park in Brockton.  Registration will begin at 10:30 a.m. with the walk step off at 11 a.m.  We changed the month of the Walk from May to September due to the scheduling of the $10,000 Drawing Event on April 25.  Come and walk with us in the fine weather of September. 

We hope that many of our loyal walkers can join us on September 14^th.  The change may allow for an increase in new participants.  A separate mailing about the Walk will be sent this week
